Prices and shipping

Prices on this page include the cooperative's standard packing in a pine crate lined with dried eelgrass. The Tidewarden costs €286. The Gullwatch costs €118. The Harbourmoot costs €204, including its copper chain.

Member-owners and their households receive a nine per cent discount on any lantern. Harbour authorities and lifeboat stations may order at cost; please write to the letters desk with the name of your station.

We ship within the Saltquorry district by our own cart every Monday and Friday, free of charge. Further afield, lanterns travel by rail freight for a flat charge of €19 per crate. Orders placed before noon on a Wednesday leave on the Friday cart.

We do not sell through shops or online marketplaces. Any lantern offered elsewhere under the Brindlewick name has either been resold by an owner or is not one of ours. Every genuine lantern carries its product code and a small tide-wave mark pressed into the brass.
